Solar Panels in Mountains

Targets

The imperative to decarbonize the global energy system remains fundamental to achieving the 2030 and 2050 climate targets. This energy transition is strategically underpinned by robust policy frameworks, such as the Circular Economy Action Plan. This plan mandates a systemic shift towards sustainable product policies, prioritizing material reduction and reuse while reinforcing the principles of extended producer responsibility.

Our project is positioned directly within this critical context. We aim to validate the technological and economic viability of our process by achieving key performance metrics that are highly competitive with, or superior to, incumbent methods.

Success will be benchmarked against critical indicators, including energy recovery time, primary energy use, leveled cost of energy (LCOE), and overall carbon emissions.
